ITINERARY

DAY 01: AMMAN
Transfer from Amman Airport to Hotel. Evening at leisure to relax or stroll on your own.

DAY 02: DEAD SEA
Half day city sightseeing covering Panoramic Tour of Amman then visit the ancient Roman city of Jerash, including the paved and colonnaded streets, soaring hilltop temples, theatres, public squares and plazas. Proceed to Ajloun Castle, a fine example of Islamic architecture built by Saladin’s general in 1184 AD. Transfer from Amman to Dead Sea (Lowest point on Earth) by Coach.

DAY 03: DEAD SEA
Spend the day at leisure in Dead Sea.

DAY 04: PETRA
Transfer from Dead Sea to Petra by Coach. Enroute visit Madaba, a city best known for Byzantine and Umayyad mosaics. Proceed to Mt. Nebo, a city mentioned in the bible as the place where Moses was granted a view of the promised land that he would never enter. Proceed to visit Little Petra best known as Al Beidha (the White One) due to the pale rock colors is also an archaeological site located North of Petra.

DAY 05: PETRA
Full day visit to Nabatean Red Rose city of Petra, one of the 7 world wonders and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Enter the city through 1KM long narrow gorge which is flanked either side by 80m high cliffs. The site is massive and contains hundreds of elaborated rock-cut tombs, a treasury, Roman-style theatres and temples.

DAY 06: WADI RUM
Transfer from Petra to Wadi Rum by Coach. Explore the Jordanian Desert in a Jeep ride, Wadi Rum was best described by T.E. Lawrence as “Vast, echoing and God-like”, and by the locals as “Valley of the Moon”.

DAY 07: AMMAN
Transfer from Wadi Rum to Amman by Coach. Evening at leisure to stroll on your own or do some last-minute Shopping at the local market.

DAY 08: DEPARTURE
Transfer to Amman Airport for departure.
